What a fantastic episode to mark the halfway point in Megalobox. This episode closes much more than the fight arc between Joe and Aragaki, and its that intricate weave that is beginning to make Megalobox really shine. Spoilers ahead, so if you haven't watched Episode 6 yet, well what are you waiting for?

This arc is interesting to me as it was more about Aragaki and Nanbu, their past and how they ultimately took responsibility to get past it and move on. That character development that wasn't Joe's, added a lot of worthwhile depth to the story.

Probably my favorite moment was after the fight as Aragaki was being helped to the locker room when we are made to realize the gravity of this fight for Aragaki. This was going to be his last fight whether it was with Joe or another fighter, his last chance for the closure he so desperately needed. He took responsibility for his happiness, stopped blaming others and had a meaningful final fight.

The fight itself was good, though it was a bit of a shame that one cut near the middle was quite obviously of lesser quality.

Definitely looking forward to this second half, can this show live up to the legacy fans are already putting on it?
